Blurb from a JoCoNaut:

The story takes place on a theme cruise for a boy band from the 90s. The relation to our cruise is my main reason for the suggestion. The story is told from three viewpoints: a cruiser, a member of the band, and the production manager. It's more character/relationship-driven than plot-driven. It's a quick read, with a mix of fun, drama, and head-shaking. There are a couple of queer characters, but that's not the focus of the book.

I heard about American Fantasy as one of the "What's Making Us Happy" picks on Pop Culture Happy Hour.
